2012 Blog Stats in Review

WordPress.com compiles an annual report for bloggers hosting their blogs on the website. Find below a summary of my annual report for 2012 based on the site statistics. In 2012 alone, the blog was viewed a whopping 110,000 times!!! A hearty thanks to all who have visited, read, shared and commented on my blog and posts. Let’s hope 2013 brings more numbers!

Most importantly, this is one of the few moments where one reflects on the freedom and liberties that come with a democracy, especially the freedom of expression. We should be thankful. In other climes, bloggers and public commentators get arrested and detained.

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

19,000 people fit into the new Barclays Center to see Jay-Z perform. This blog was viewed about 110,000 times in 2012. If it were a concert at the Barclays Center, it would take about 6 sold-out performances for that many people to see it.
